If this was the way to do it, this was the way she was going to do it. Vernique put Solver to bed, made a few phone calls, and then knocked on Svalin's bedroom door.

"Enter," Svalin said as she slowly removed sweat drenched clothes. Doing things with one hand took longer than normal and it was her off-hand. The fabric of her clothes was drenched in sweat from her workout. Every free waking moment was spent learning how to use a sword more effectively with her left hand.

Wet fabric fell to the floor and dark bruises were already starting to form on pale flesh.

	She smiled. "He doth seem to enjoy it so." Her son will be the only Asgardian to fly on their own accord. He was going to be the only Asgardian in terms of quite a few things. "Not quite," Svalin said. "If a warrior doth give too much into rage during battle they will enter the madness. They wilt fight until they art dead. Injuries mean nothing nor does pain. There ist only death for someone in the madness."

"Most times there ist no coming out of the madness. Exceptions art the bear-sarks, but e'en then there ist a chance they wilt not come out of it."

"Why doth thou ask?" Concern gripped her. Talk about the madness that could overcome any Asgardian warrior never created a good feeling. Did something happen with Hal?

Svalin bowed her head to Vernique. She was a little surprised, but if he wife wanted out of the house Svalin would comply.

"If thou wishes." The first thought to jump into her mind was how was she going to protect her wife and son. She had been working with her sword every day, but she wasn't near anywhere in skill level where she used to be. It twisted her stomach a bit.

"Thou wilt not lose me," Svalin swore. "In truth there ist little chance of losing me to the madness. There ist more chance of losing me when trying bring Hal out of the madness." Svalin had put her life on the line on many occasions trying to bring her brother out of the madness and thankfully her brother had recognized her. One day he will not recognize her and one of them would end up dead.

Svalin's first reaction was to say she didn't need an appointment with a Migard doctor, but instead she held it in. She nodded once. "If milady wishes."

	"It ist the way of things," Svalin said with a shrug. She would always endanger her own life to bring her brother out of the madness than risk any other life.
