Frustrations
One would find it unusual to see Fred sitting in the living room of the institute. They would likely find it even more so that the lights weren't even turned on. He was just sitting in the dark doing..nothing.

"I really do hope you get what you need from this, Fred. And the next time you have another... change, how about you come get me and we can go for a run. Or you can rant. Or we can take it out in the Danger Room. I don't want you destroying your work over a fit of pique."

She had to laugh softly at that, nuzzling up under his chin. "Getting smug and cocky now, are we?"

This was nice; sitting and cuddling with her... well, not that it had been talked over, but she supposed she thought of him as her boyfriend already. She had braved his cousin, after all. Snuggling against him, she grinned when she heard the small sound, fingers toying in his hair. "You're purring. I like that."
