Frustrations
One would find it unusual to see Fred sitting in the living room of the institute. They would likely find it even more so that the lights weren't even turned on. He was just sitting in the dark doing..nothing.

"Whoa, whoa, don't get upset." She suddenly had an epiphany as to why he was working on stabilizing the mutant gene. Coming over, she gently touched his arm, stroking her fingers lightly down it as she looked up at him. "It will go away or it won't. It doesn't change you, Fred. You've become the czar of adapting to your changes; something I'm kind of impressed by. I don't think I'd handle it nearly as well as you do."

Well, when he said he'd lost his temper, he hadn't been lying. Broken glass littered the floor, desks and tables had been overturned and she distinctly saw claw marks on one of the legs. "Well, at least you didn't bring down the roof, hmm? Now, you stay here. I'll sweep up the worst of the glass. It's a wonder you didn't slice your feet to ribbons already." Not that she'd gotten a good look at them, but she was hoping that was the case.

	"You'd better not have," she said with an arched brow as she gingerly tiptoed over the glass to find and get the broom. "Don't press your luck, sweetie. Stay over there until I can get this swept up." She had a feeling until his hand changed back - if it did - she'd be spending a lot more time down here, helping him with his manual work. 	She makes quick work of the task, making a sizable pile of broken shards, clearing the way enough for him to access most of his lab.
