Ambush! (open to Hal)
Svalin stood off to one side and watched the actors and actresses move around the set. Her brother was filming a new movie...He-Man or something like that and Svalin was taking a break from her consulting work on fight choreography to watch. The studio had taken her on as a special consultant when it came to choreographing fight scenes. It wasn't real battle, but it kept her in practice and she liked teaching people how to properly use a sword.

This was the tenth time they were doing this scene and Svalin thought about wandering over to the table of food soon.

	Svalin is, really, the far better choreographer. She has a deeper study of the arts of war and mass combat, and tends to make swordwork look a lot prettier. Halbjorn, for his part, is just happy to have her there. She makes so much more sense than most of the directors. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Svalin dodged the man that had been thrown at her and continued after Decay.. Her staff shifted into a hammer and Svalin threw it at the retreating figure. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Hal seems a bit surprised by the parry, though it quickly turns into a grin. "A warrior's training? Good. Because if thou'rt questioning the gods themselves, thy mettle wilt be sore tested." he replies, swinging again, testing his foe's strength and reflexes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Conquest doesn't have Hal's strength, but he does know a variety of techniques to counter those stronger than himself. He spins causing Hal's blade to shift slightly to the side of him, using the momentum to turn it rather than sheer force. "Humanity has long since ceased needing pagan gods." We require not thy worship, but thou need the gods a time longer." he replies, enjoying this contest and his opponent's skill far more than he probably should. 	Halbjorn pulls himself up through the hole in the floor, looking first for his opponent. Svalin's voice cuts through the haze somewhat, and while he's clearly not all there at the moment, he heads for that sound anyway. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He blinks a couple times, trying to make out the words. But the idea, and 'axe', anyway, become clear fast enough. He's got at least that much understanding of battlefield medicine. He waits for her to rest her arm to something, hefting the bloodaxe. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
