Jean Peterson sat in the small cafe and drank a cup of coffee. Her mind worked to find a way to get into the Defenders' compound to regain the Crimson Ruby of Cyttorak. She had been strong, invulnerable and unstoppable when she had it in her possession. Never again did she want to feel powerless like her ex-husband did on a daily basis.
The waitress set a wrapped gift on the table in front of her. Jean looked at it for a moment and then removed the card from the top. She read it and smiled before tearing the gift open.
Jean was transformed back into the Juggernaut when she removed the crimson gem inside.
