Lunch and family
Natasha went with neutral ground for this meeting. Matt in her home was probably not a good idea no matter how she looked at it. Neutral ground meant some place out and some place that would offer some amount of privacy. That left her clearing out Big Nick's for lunch. Thankfully the place was more than willing to cater to Mrs. Stark.

Natasha arrived with Eliza and Misha, sending a text to Tony letting him know where they'll be if he wanted to meet them. They grabbed a table with four extra chairs. One for Tony if he showed and three for Matt, Jack and Elektra. Natasha silently prayed that the Greek Ninja would not be coming. It would just add more tension to a situation that was already guaranteed to be very tense.

She sat quietly at the table and sipped her diet soda. She was steering clear of vodka until after this, but she could really use a few shots before seeing Matt.

	Misha didn't order vodka, but he did have a beer. He relaxed next to Mom, doing his best to project support. He could see this was hard for her. And he admitted, to himself, some curiosity about Mr. Murdock. He'd heard the stories, but he'd never met the man. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Matt eventually, on schedule, walked in quietly. The place had such a strong Hot Food scent one could swim in it. Yeah, really he should think about that now instead of everything. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Jack followed Dad in. The smell of the place was strong, but he thought it might be a good place to eat some night. He resolved to try it out later.

Two of the faces he recognized. Both from the newspapers, and in Mrs. Stark's case when he'd accompanied a small group of junior Avengers to the mansion after a run in with the Lady Mandarin. She was very white.

He put on a smile. This could be a good thing and he wanted to approach it in that way.

	Jack wished he didn't hear either of their heartbeats. He wanted to like Mrs. Stark, but loyalty to his mother might make it a bit hard after today. He was about to introduce himself, but the tension springing up around the table kept him silent. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She could see the tension in the air so she offered a small smile towards Jack. It wasn't too forced but she was nervous because she didn't know him. "Um. Hey? Not the best way to meet, I'm Eliza," she reaches over with her hand to be friendly with Jack. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Matt, this is Mikhail Romanov," Natasha said as she motioned toward her son. "And this, this is Elizaveta Romanova," she said as she motioned toward the newest family member. 	Matt nodded in the general direction of the others at the table, only a trifle off-angle, and managed to take Misha's hand with only a slight physical awkwardness. "Good to meet you," he manages after a pause, then looks in the direction of the other figure. "Elizaveta... Eliza? sounds like you've been having an interesting couple of days." 	Her face relaxes a little. "Yeah. I certainly didn't see what was going to happen." She takes in the fact Big Nick's is emptied out. "At first I was pretty freaked out. I'm just glad some things aren't so different Da-er, Mr Murdock." Calling him Dad right away would be weird. He is Dad but on the same note he's not really. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Matt's fine if it would be comfortable, of course," Matt manages. "I'm glad you're adjusting okay." And a small, tight smile at Misha's remark. "Yes, it is more their turf. And the red sunglasses has normally been as far as I've gotten to infringing on their turf. But surprises do happen." He'll reach his hand a little toward Eliza's part of the table. Jack wondered why the red glasses would be an infringement and made a note to ask later. He was beginning to see how far out of the line of superhero fire Mom and Dad had kept him.

"I live in the city, Eliza," he said, "if you need help adjusting. I'll give you my phone number and address. My girlfriend is planning to apply for Avenger membership, so we might be seeing a lot of each other."

	"The place is Grand Central. Everybody goes there." He had no need to look at the menu, or any desire to avert his eyes. He was taking in every detail he could, just so he could not tell Anya about it later. "But I heard about you from Sam Fury.
