Please Christmas Don't Be Late (TBolts)
Christmas. Yule. Saturnalia. Dies Natalis Solis Invicti. Many cultures have celebrated and still celebrate a winter festival. There have been many names for it over the millennia. No matter the name it is a time to come together and celebrate with feasts and gifts with friends and loved ones.

Each culture has a legendary figure who would deliver gifts to children during this time. In Russia and some Slavic cultures he is known as Ded Moroz, Grandfather Frost, and comes not on Christmas but on New Year’s along with his granddaughter Snegurochka, or ‘”Snow Maiden”. In the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe he is known as Father Christmas. In the Netherlands and Belgium he is known as Saint Nicholas or “Sinterklaas” and in France he is known as Père Noël. In the United States we know him as Santa Claus.

No matter the name or who is delivering gifts, it is the season of peace, joy and togetherness. It is the season for thinking about loved ones, friends and those less fortunate. It is a time to witness the goodness and generosity the human race is capable of. It is a time for peace on Earth and goodwill toward man.

Martin has been teleporting all over the HQ setting up decorations for Christmas. Because hey, he was still a kid technically and this was by far his favourite holiday.

The exterior has a giant lightning bolt made of blue floating lights hovering right over HQ, not to mention the mini fireworks he's set up to go off periodically in the yard. Magical fireworks of course, they wouldn't hurt anyone and the effects were so much better than the real ones.

Inside there are small floating lights everywhere that twinkle different colours and flash(because those electrical ones with one colour were so boring). Everywhere except Anya's lab of course, he didn't think she'd want him trying out all these new charms there. Now if only he could get the ones in the hallway to work better....

He had let the others deal with the tree (although he'd insisted that he do the lights on that too) and placed all the presents under it before hand. For Bea he'd enchanted a round of bullets to set anything they hit on fire (the hardest part was getting the bullets, nobody seemed to think he should go near them...). For Kelly he'd enchanted a set of fireworks so that they exploded into mythical creatures (that had been really hard to do) along with a note informing her that he had also charmed them so that they couldn't explode if they were close enough to hit anyone (he put a note in Bea's telling her about this because she didn't need to do more spatula work). Anya got a coupon for one magical decorating job by him for any occasion (he'd do the TBolts HQ for free though)and an enchanted toaster that acted as an alarm clock by exploding very loudly into a burst of light then reforming as a toaster (he'd heard things about appliances dying around her and thought he should make it useful...). He didn't know Elodie well so he took the time to enchant a deck of cards that shuffled themselves while the backs changed colour. He'd already sent Marlow's present magically over (a surfboard enchanted to leave magic sparkles in its wake if she ever wanted to surf) so christmas presents were all set.

Now to fix those hallway lights. He'd spent so much time learning all these spells too, why wouldn't they just change properly? Orange wasn't a very festive colour to be stuck at...

Each member of her team got a small device that would stun an opponent with an electrical charge. Each member also got a donation of a thousand dollars made in their name to Doctors Without Borders.

Martin got a laptop and a gift card to Best Buy.

Bea got the complete set of dvds of the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and the box had been signed by Robert Vaughn and David McCallum.

Elodie got a trip to anywhere in the world she wanted to go and accommodations for a week.

Kelly got a shirt and a set of dvds
