A different kind of dance
Rita had been keeping busy. Winter was really starting to hit them and she was enjoying the fact it was getting chillier out. She loved the cold!

What she didn't love was hearing about trouble. The kind of trouble she wanted to nip in the bud.

She was sure it was the kind of thing that would leave her terrified but she wasn't going to let a little fear stop her. So she hoped on her bike and went to track it down.

It took some work trying to pin it down because she was rubbish with directions.

Then by the time she found the area she was going to check out it was dark so she shivered just a little and hid her sword under her coat and slung her bag over one shoulder and started walking. She had to play up the poor innocent girl act a bit.

Too bad her hair and boots don't help capture that image very well.

Suddenly, Vincent is all business.

"Are you tracking a specific nest or just hoping to find something?" He looks around carefully, putting his back towards a wall, as his voice seems to grow slightly ethereal, and his eyes shine.

"Guardian of the Bifrost, give me your sight..." It sounds like whatever tongue is most native to others, but there's something about the way it resonates that makes it as if he's speaking another language.

	Making sure she's following, Vincent advances on the door at the bottom of the stairs. It seems to be jammed shut from the other side. He raises his staff and starts channeling a spell through it. He readies to blast the door open on the girl's signal. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She hates that he puts himself between her and the door. Did she ask for help? She fights back the urge to be angry. She knows better because evil must be fought. 	Vincent rushes in behind her, calling upon Try of Battles to guide his movements. Being at the base of a building, and with an ally nearby, he needs to handle this with martial skill. His staff is shortly driven like a spear through one of the vampires' chests. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Defense of the Bright One!" Vincent screams as he sees the girl get caught off guard. He creates a shield the size of a dinner plate, nearly impenetrable from either side. The last vampire is fast, flitting about the chamber wildly as it copes with the wounds the light bomb inflicted. It dodges ahead of the sword, running for the door, but finding the other spell-caster in the way.

Vincent makes a lunge, but he hasn't been able to call upon Tyr again yet, and his movements are clumsy. He barely manages to hold the gap, as the vampire retreats to another corner of the basement.

"Wielder of Thunder and Earth, arm my ally with your righteous fury!" Vincent stamps his staff against the floor, and energy crackles across it, wrapping the girl's sword in lightning, ready to discharge against a target.

	This time Rita moves again. She doesn't like people messing with her sword as it's already magical but she wings again. It hits true and she smells burning undead flesh from the lightning. "Awesome." She finishes it off with a swing. "That was.... easy." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
