Monday Night Football
Anya was in a bad mood from the argument with Toni about Genosha, but she promised Jimmy she would go to the Giants game with him and do some tailgaiting. The Toni stuff could be pushed back for the evening. Tomorrow she could think about it and deal with it.

The game was in New Orleans which would make it a challenge, but nothing so simple as distance would stop a Stark. This would also be her first Giants game of the year which was a surprise. It was a testament to how busy her life was right now. Usually she didn't miss a game.

She had on a pair of jeans, her favorite boots, a Giants jersey, a matching turtleneck underneath it, and a Giants ballcap. She had a jacket with her as well since it was supposed to be in the mid-40s. It still wouldn't be difficult to recognize her, but maybe it won't be so bad. She was really wearing anything to make her stand out. Blending in was usually a good thing.

She checked herself in the mirror one more time and then headed toward Jimmy's hotel room. Bridget would have made sure everything they needed would be waiting for them downstairs in the rented truck. The woman was a godsend and Anya needed to give her a raise.

She knocked on Jimmy's door.

Anya blinked. As usual she had been thinking differently than him. She had been thinking about sex, not dating, seeing how she hadn't had any real relationships and had flings instead. It wasn't that she didn't eventually want something with someone, just that it hadn't happened yet. If you didn't count Tommy Collins whom Anya "dated" in third grade and whom was the first boy she kissed. She still remembered that trip to the principal's office.

"Just so we're clear...as in dating boyfriend girlfriend kind of thing?" she asked.

"Maybe." he agrees. "So we're clear, I'm saying we seem to get along, like some of the same things, and we're looking at spending more time together. Far as I know we're both single... so we try a few more dates... if things keep going well, then yeah, a boyfriend-girlfriend sort of thing, if you're interested. If you're wanting to hold off and just be casual, that's fine too."

"I'm single," she clarified. "Though the tabloids like to think I'm not and put me with a different guy every few weeks or so." She wasn't quite sure how they did that since she really didn't have time for a social life. She would give them credit for active imaginations.

She looked at him and thought about dating him. She found the idea rather nice. A smile appeared on her face. "I'd like to give things a try and see where they go."

At first it had been him volunteering to be arm decoration at charity events and from that they started spending more time together when Anya had some free time. Burgers on Saturdays with him was nice and each week Anya looked forward to it. She looked forward to spending time with him in general each week.

	He finishes his own food not long thereafter. He usually does eat quite a bit, since he burns off everything he can pack in and more. When done, he uses one of the water bottles and a cloth to wash his hands off a bit, then starts packing everything away. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	From the efficiency of the set up, it seems he's done this quite a few times before. When everything is packed back into the car, he offers a hand, and heads for the stadium, exchanging a few more quips with Saints fans and high-fives with a small handful of Giants fans. 	They weren't the best seats, but they were still good. About twenty five rows back around mid-field. It was the first time Anya was watching a game from seats. She usually watched games from a luxury box. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He catches a vendor's attention and pays for a couple of drinks. He definitely doesn't need more food, but soda during the game is a good thing. Anya watched the game and cheered loudly for her Giants. Anya got a few questions from the people around her and she answered them enough to satisfy the people, but not give too much away. Thankfully most were more interested in the game than they were her.

Giants scores were celebrated by loud cheers and a kiss or two with Jimmy. It was the most fun Anya had at a game.

	Despite the fact the Saints go up pretty quick, and with it, the crowd gives the Giants fans a harder time, he's obviously having a lot of fun, and enjoying both the back and forth with people, and Anya's method of celebrating Giants' scores. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
