After the Party
Anya entered the luxury suite her family always had reserved at the Four Seasons and went straight for the bar. She grabbed a glass and a bottle of vodka. She poured herself some and downed it one gulp. Her hands were shaking and she poured herself another glass and downed that one as well.

"I'm sure we can get a few interested people. My brother being one of them."

There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it," she said and jumped up. Food. Food was always worth moving quickly for. Anya went out in to the living room and opened the door and allowed the man in. He pushed the cart in and unloaded the trays of food onto the table. Anya thanked him and grabbed a fifty from her clutch.

"Hungry?" she asked after the man left and the door shut.

	The thought of food had been good, but now that it was here and in front of her Anya didn't have much of an appetite. She never did when she had something upset her. She picked at her food while she watched the movie. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He finishes his food fairly quickly. Regardless of circumstances, he's used to eating on a schedule, like most things in his typical day, so its routine. As soon as he's done, he sets his plate aside, and nestles up to her, holding her while she picks at her food. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Anya set the plate aside after only a few bites. Her appetite was almost non-existent. Then again she was used to going for long periods of time without eating. She lost track of time in the lab, but lately it had been traveling. She snuggled up next to Jimmy. Warmth and safety were what she needed tonight. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Anya closed her eyes and smiled as he snuggled up against her. She thought about coding because it was the only thing that would keep her from thinking about jumping him and losing herself in him. He's not aware of the line of thought, but probably wouldn't approve. Its not that he has any objections to getting jumped. In truth, the thought of similar things occurred to him a time or two with her... but right now, that's not how he'd want things to start. Bad way to start a relationship. But he can be a physical presence and just hold her for a while while the movie plays.

	He grabs one of the little notepads by the phone, and jots down an i.o.u. for one massage, and sets it, a little hidden, among her things. Then he returns to the bed, shuts off the TV, and wraps himself gently around her to sleep. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That wakes him quickly. Buck is a light sleeper - has been for years. He quickly wraps himself around her gently, trying to make sure she's not restrained or trapped, but there's someone there. "Anya, Anya... its ok. I'm right here." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Anya woke with a start. Her breathing came in rapid short breaths and she was sweating. She blinked a few times and looked around. It took a moment to remember where she was and who was with her. She wrapped her arms around Jimmy and tightly held onto him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
