Anya entered the luxury suite her family always had reserved at the Four Seasons and went straight for the bar. She grabbed a glass and a bottle of vodka. She poured herself some and downed it one gulp. Her hands were shaking and she poured herself another glass and downed that one as well.

	He laughs. "Can't bet anything I can't afford to lose. I'd love to take you for dinner if you win, but it'd be on a pretty serious budget. 	"Fair enough, I'll plan on budgeting for Big Nick's, since I'm pretty sure I'm not going to compete with the girl who's done the test driving most of her life. But maybe we'll end up putting stakes on something more in my area of expertise eventually." he answers with a grin, not at all effectively surrendering a dinner out with her on his tab. He grins. "That's ok, I don't mind taking you out to Big Nick's, especially with you covering all this trip. I just don't have your budget. And I'll try and be competitive... I'm just not a life-long car racer.... and... typically, anything athletic... swimming, climbing, sports... which aren't really fair. Hmm... lock picking, martial arts, targeting. Also... probably not that fair." and idea hits. "There's always poker or pool. Tanya taught me a thing or two." Which is to say, his fairy godmothers turned him into a very, very good pool hustler and card shark... which both include the skillset of downplaying being any good. "We can figure something out though."

"I know how to play poker," she said. "We could play. It may not be a bad idea to start our generation's regular poker game. Dad, Ben Grimm, Hank McCoy, Uncle Nick and Logan still go to theirs, but I know we'll never get invites."

Anya knew martial arts and how to shoot weapons. She wasn't just a Stark. Mom saw to it that she knew the Romanov side of things as well, but she wasn't even close to his class. She knew enough to hold her own and that was about it.

"Yeah we can."

"I'm sure we can get a few interested people. My brother being one of them."

There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it," she said and jumped up. Food. Food was always worth moving quickly for. Anya went out in to the living room and opened the door and allowed the man in. He pushed the cart in and unloaded the trays of food onto the table. Anya thanked him and grabbed a fifty from her clutch.

"Hungry?" she asked after the man left and the door shut.

	He finishes his food fairly quickly. Regardless of circumstances, he's used to eating on a schedule, like most things in his typical day, so its routine. As soon as he's done, he sets his plate aside, and nestles up to her, holding her while she picks at her food. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Anya set the plate aside after only a few bites. Her appetite was almost non-existent. Then again she was used to going for long periods of time without eating.
