Buck holds on a little longer, and watches the stakes flying from Kal.
As soon as he gets a particularly powerful buck, trying to throw him up in the air, he holds on with one hand, but otherwise would go flying - as he comes down, he tries to use all of that momentum and the hellcow's own weight to flip her into a hard judo throw, grabbing a stake out of the air as he's launched upward, and plunging down with all that speed and momentum if the judo throw connects, hoping its enough to pierce the elder vampire's undead hide.
