Misha stumbled when the first guard fell. He landed hard and rolled automatically. When he hit the wall, he looked back to see Tessa grabbing the guard. He wasn't sure, but the look on the guard's face said he was getting a taste of what Misha experienced earlier.
He used the wall for balance as he got to his feet.
