"You're /not/ irresponsible," Misha told her firmly. "You /were,/ but you were also a dumb kid like the rest of us, and now you're not. And even when you were a dumb kid, you'd have never put your baby brother in danger of any sort. This was dumb luck and smart baby, and if Mom feels the need to lecture about irresponsibility, she can lecture me."
