It all started out so nice...
Okay, so, yeah. This being in a real relationship thing? Pretty dang nice. It didn't hurt to have the mess that had been the Mojoverse long behind them, though she admittedly still felt kinda bad about David. Not so much that it colored her current relationship with Starbridge, but certainly a thought now and then.

But these days, it was a certain Shi'ar prince than held her thoughts. And more often than not, shared them too. Having telepathic powers and a boyfriend with something of the same made of a level of connection Rachel never would have thought possible. Of course, considering she was person non gratta back in his galaxy (or possibly public enemy number 1, she wasn't quite sure)... Well, she wasn't going to think about that.

As for tonight? Well, as nights on the town went, this one was really good. Granted, she hadn't had too many dates to compare it to, but she knew what she liked.

Rachel looked up from her food. "This is nice," she said. "...And I've said that already, haven't I?"

Starbridge smilse affectionately. "Yes, Rachel. But one could argue it bore repeating. It is nice."

His Imperial Highness has been having some of the happiest days of his life, lately. His mind, used to having to be neatly organized to cope with his own powers, uses this to keep all the complications out of his thoughts when they connect. To the Abyss with what anyone, everyone in the Imperium might think. Rachel was amazing. And he would do everything in her power to make sure she never regretted her choice.

He finally tears his eyes from the most beautiful girl i nthe cosmos to look out the window. "It's a nice night in general, really."

	She smiled. The handsome prince who fought for her honor? Okay, now that was a fairy tale. And Rachel was mature enough to know that for mutants like her, especially for Summers, fairy tales rarely held much traction. But for the moment... yeah. Handsome prince charming. "Really is. 	"Yes, I--" And as Starbridge cuts himself off, Rachel will see an expression in his eyes she's never really seen before, because she's never really looked into his eyes as a vision hit. Not wanting to overwhelm her, Starbridge orders his mind to one image that shares the most threads. A building erupting from the force of an explosion, with some flames.

Better-than-even chance this is happening within the hour. We have to warn the people in that building

The building in question is the Genoshan consulate, though Starbridge doesn't know the city well enough to identify it off hand. He just takes a large sum of money out of his coat and puts it under his glass.

	Rachel's able to clamp down on her own surprise fairly quickly, but it doesn't stop an involuntary Jesus! from escaping. She rose with him. That's the Genoshan consulate. Which means her cousin. 	It would. And there were innocent people there, and all around, no matter what her thoughts on Genosha herself were. Once outside, she did a quick mental pulse of confusion to keep any watchers from noticing, and used her TK powers to lift them both into the air. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He holds her tight as they go. Fortunately, it's not that far -- which was why he was able to have such a clear vision of the event. He could have seen it when it happened. Gio, unsurprisingly, was follwoing behind Andrew. She certainly didn't like seeing his often-rude cousin, but that hardly mattered now. "I should get the others." She took a breath to begin the process of teleporting, but then stopped, thinking of all the security risks she'd been prepared for. "No. If it's one of those bombs rigged for mutagenic signatures, the flare before a teleport could set it off."
