The Battle for Everything (Sept 22nd-23rd)
Asgard. The Golden Realm. The Realm Eternal. One of the nine worlds. Home of the Norse gods. Darkness covered the land and the realm's inhabitants had retired for the evening. Peace and quiet had fallen over a land frequently subjected to strife and violence.

A blinding light shattered the darkness and Kang and his followers materialized from the portal. Kang took a second to survey the scene. The reshaping of worlds started here. Tonight he would have the one who would be a thorn in his side decades from now. Tonight gods would fall and die and the babe would be his. The last weapon to be collected and one that would help him reshape worlds in Kang's image.

"Kill them all," Kang said to his gathered forces collected from various worlds from various points in time.

The ones that had given the so-called-heroes the most problems. The new Mandarin, son of the former, at the height of his power before he made the mistake of getting involved with the Stark girl. Apocalypse plucked from time just before his defeat at the hands of the X-Men, X-Factor and the Avengers. Hyperion the titan of myth plucked from time before his defeat at the hands of heroes. These joined the deviants he grabbed before their defeat and a being named Mongul.

"The babe being born this night is mine," Kang said. The child would serve Kang and be the implement of Kang's will.

Halbjorn may be stronger, pound for pound in this state, but the shapeshifter has leverage. He's borne down, seeming to be buried a moment - before, with axe and fist and savagery, he attempt to find the light again - trying to do so by burrowing directly through Apocalypse.

Down they crash, rolling across the ground, bowling over lesser combatants in their wake. Apocalypse, distracted as others make a futile attempt to strike at both him and the Asgardian, lashes out. The barbed spear rips out the side of Halbjorn, as the bloodaxe finally drops his other arm from his body.

Anyone else should drop. Entrails do not belong on the outside.

Halbjorn is Bear sark. Apocalypse will need to kill him to stop him. And even then, he may try and get another shot or two in.

He spits out bits of Apocalypse's hide, blackish 'blood' staining his face, even as they're bothed bathed in Halbjorn's blood and gore.

Trying to find a hold with one hand, broken fingernails and partly severed fingers gripping anything they can, he flails with the axe, roaring and howling for blood and death and joy.

En Sabah Nur has not seen a personal clash like this in all his years. He and the crazed man gnash and tear at one another with equal zeal.

But the weight of centuries holds in his mind, and he knows that the exertion to slay his opponent will only set back his long term plans. Sacrificing the remains of his mostly severed arm, he breaks free, and wades through a field of lesser opponents until he can recover, directing those he does not immediately kill back at what is left of his enemy.

Halborn, trailing his own guts, broken and battered, flails about him with abandon. With so much of a tide of enemies coming his way, he loses track of Apocalypse.

There is a howl of rage as the ancient mutant disappears to lick his wounds, and then the Bear Sark disappears under a tide of foes, swinging at anything and everything that moves, lost to the madness.
