The Battle for Everything (Sept 22nd-23rd)
Asgard. The Golden Realm. The Realm Eternal. One of the nine worlds. Home of the Norse gods. Darkness covered the land and the realm's inhabitants had retired for the evening. Peace and quiet had fallen over a land frequently subjected to strife and violence.

A blinding light shattered the darkness and Kang and his followers materialized from the portal. Kang took a second to survey the scene. The reshaping of worlds started here. Tonight he would have the one who would be a thorn in his side decades from now. Tonight gods would fall and die and the babe would be his. The last weapon to be collected and one that would help him reshape worlds in Kang's image.

"Kill them all," Kang said to his gathered forces collected from various worlds from various points in time.

The ones that had given the so-called-heroes the most problems. The new Mandarin, son of the former, at the height of his power before he made the mistake of getting involved with the Stark girl. Apocalypse plucked from time just before his defeat at the hands of the X-Men, X-Factor and the Avengers. Hyperion the titan of myth plucked from time before his defeat at the hands of heroes. These joined the deviants he grabbed before their defeat and a being named Mongul.

"The babe being born this night is mine," Kang said. The child would serve Kang and be the implement of Kang's will.

	Mongul kept Dex busy, letting the green lantern boy wear himself down. He got in his strikes between blocks, blurs of yellow and green. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dex's armor was holding for now and absorbed Mongul's attack. They wouldn't hold too much longer. Dex struck as hard and as fast as he could. Every last bit of willpower was put into keeping his contructs. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Fear was stronger in Mongul's mind, and he pushed it out at the lantern boy. As fast as Dex was, Mongul pushed him that much more with every strike and block. When this was over, he'd have another ring to add to his collection. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	For a second Dex thought his constructs would hold, but that hope was dashed on the rocks. The green faded and the strike hit. Dex went flying backward and was in a world of hurt. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	With the giants down (and don't think she didn't notice that the Asgardians rushed in /after/ she and Quinn took care of them!), Marlow sent out her illusions to see who needed help. A flying body went through one and landed with a heavy groan. She teleported herself in between the flyer and the... oh...dear...UGLY! (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Stay down if you're hurt!" the illusion told Dex. "I'll handle it." "Hrm... no." Marlow sent out a repulse blast to force Mongul back. Her pink protective shield blinked when the spell passed through it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The illusion disappeared as soon as Dex charged. Marlow glanced around a second to see where he was before adjusting the protective shield to allow his daggers through. 	Mongul still had the presence of mind to use the young lantern's rage against him. He fought past the daggers and proceeded to beat Dex down into the dirt. (Reply to this)(Parent)
