Svalin held onto Jon's hand until Vernique offered her Solver. She very carefully took her son and settled him in her arms.

Perfect moments were rare, but right now Svalin was in one when she looked down at her son's face. She was holding her son and the two people she loved the most in any world were here with her. Tears fell from her eyes and ran down her cheeks.

She stared at Solver for what seemed like forever, but had only been a few minutes and then looked at Jon. She smiled and offered him Solver.
