TDRoK: The Eve of Destruction - The Brides of Set
A bright light appeared over the Defenders compound and two figures emerged in the sky. A multitude of explosives rained down on the buildings below. A moment later numerous explosions broke the quiet of the day. The Earth trembled and fire and smoke filled the air. A crater now took the place of the Defenders Compound and the two figures in the sky disappeared.

Far below the Pacific Ocean the brides were clad in white and lined up in front of the altar. A semi-circle of priests stood behind the brides and were chanting. The magic in the air became more powerful as the priests chanted. A small circle appeared in the air before the brides and started to get bigger.

All around the chamber deviants fought heroes while the portal grew so the god Set could make his entrance into the world. Another portal formed on the far side of the chamber and the two beings that had appeared over the Defenders Compound were now in Lemuria.

	Gooth laughs at the silly man - and when Dex swings, he'll find his sword stuck inside the jelly-like mass, and the digestive fluids inside the monster are eating at his construct. Gooth tries to wrap the lantern up in a jiggling bear hug. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dex stopped and turned direction in air to avoid the unwanted hug. He formed a giant hand to pick up the Ugly and toss him into a wall. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Gooth flattens against the wall with a splort, and oozes down it. By the time he reaches the ground, he's more or less reconstituted himself, and flings a couple heavy rocks at the lantern. The priests are going to be really happy with him! (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dex formed a baseball bat and hit the rocks right back at Gooth. He formed another giant hand and picked up the thing. A portal had to go somewhere, right? Dex threw the thing at the forming portal. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Gooth is great at taking hits. The rocks just sink into him and begin melting. He almost oozes out of the hand a couple times, but by now, Dex adjusts... As a sacrifice is made to it, the portal flares brighter, and opens a little wider. (Reply to this)(Parent)
