Fred sat there a moment, taking in what he heard.
"You're assuming a great deal, Sylvie. You have no idea what I'm working on. And just because I've left my father's company does not mean I'm willing to suddenly accept yours'." He states calmly. "I did consider my uncle for a time, though I feel he may be more of a hindrance than a help."
