But I don't feel like dancing.
A LOHN event, full of music, food, and wholesome, smiling faces. Minnie hated them so, so much. She longed to run back to Julian and watch as he brought Zothelle's little empire crashing down.

But for now, she watched, and smiled, and charmed, and lightly flirted, and filed away every single piece of information she heard.

A.C. Whitman watches the tiny woman form across the room intently, noting to himself that Mr. Zothelle really, really knows how to pick them. Whoever this Minerva Del Garda is, she's got a tight little body and a smile that lights up rooms.

A.C. is pretty sure that she's into wilder stuff that most woman, just by the way she moves, but he can't be sure.

He lets a few other guys strike out talking to her before he steps forward to refill his drink at the table she's standing near.

"You look like you're having a good time." he jests, less like one of the high-society types in attendance and more like a mechanic in an expensive suit.

"Have I seen you around here before?" he asks.

	She faux-sighed in a way she knew would look flattering in this outfit. "I'll admit it. I don't approve of the type of ginger ale they're serving." She shakes her head a little at his question. "I can make that happen." A.C. says, going to get Miss del Garda a bit of the pear-brandy that's supposed to be all the rage. He can't abide the stuff; that's more Mr. Zothelle's thing.

Rich people had weird tastes, to his mind.

He hands Minnie her drink and smiles

"Would you like to sit down and relax?" he asks. "Can't be a lot of fun standing up here all by yourself."

Having been invited to the event Tina felt it was completely appropriate to go against Minnie's continued protests and show up at the party. It would seem weird if she didn't show and, more than that, she was worried about Minnie. Someone with some serious experience in this sort of charade should be there, just in case. Tina had such experience. So she showed up a little later than most. It gave her a bit of an entrance.

	Tina was glad she was a practiced hand at the mind reading/straight face routine. The inner dialogue of the loser Minnie was working was almost hilarious with patheticness.
