(Still Bendytimed) Finale.
When Gio returned to mutant town with Angelo, Miss Fantasia, and Sengai, who was carrying a somewhat sleepy young boy, there were a few hastily-repaired cameras in her face.

She was glad to see that the poor man had been taken down and was sedated in custody. She hoped he'd be dealt with fairly, considering the entrapment he'd been in, but who knew?

To the slew of questions, she responded only, "Upon realizing how agitated his father's situation was making the younger Mr. Carter, we evacuated him, along with Miss Fantasia -- thank you again for the help, Pauline -- away from crowds and buildings so that he could calm down."
Mrs. Carter, meanwhile, was running for her son, and Gio stepped back to let her at him, nodding to Sengai to hand the tired boy over.
"Mom! There were men with guns opening the door, and Dad got so scared, and then everybody was hitting him, and I just wanted to run and there was only one way to go--"
"It's okay, honey!"
Gio nods politely to the reporters. "If you'll excuse us, we're hoping all the families displaced at this difficult time can be kept together."

And she gives Sengai, in particular a 'good soldier' nod as they walk away.

	Lisa looks down the block at what could have been the start of a much bigger disaster, and shakes her head. She then finally takes another look at Pauline, and gives her a hug. "God, you reek..." She says quietly, letting out a heavy sigh. "This isn't over, not by a long-shot." She says it emphatically, even though, as of right now, District X is empty. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Julian is standing near a wall, more to keep himself upright than to look cool, though he'd like to give the appearance of looking cool. He straightens up when he sees the women coming his way. It'll be a bit before anyone has a working camera around here, so they've got some time. "Ladies, are you--what is that smell?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"She got kidnapped by a baby Genoshan." Lisa manages a smirk, before moving to Julian and lowering her voice.

"That was very naughty, and very awesome. I'll have to treat you to dinner to get you alright later." She kisses his cheek.

She surveys the area. The berserk man is already taken away by an ambulance plus police, and the Castleton agents seem to be wrapping up. This day seems almost over.

His expression is grim as he listens to Pauline. Now that she mentioned he, he understood the whole of what they'd tried to do.

"Strauss and the Governor gave the order for this. They pushed people out of their homes in the hopes that this young man would tear the place down and help out whoever they're in bed with.

I want to find that young man and help him out. He's the biggest victim in all of this, and his parents got screwed too. This isn't going to stand if I can help it. The people in charge for this will be investigated, even if I have to contact the Justice Department myself." Julian says.

"That was ill-said, Lisa. The Genoshans are not doing anything that Americans haven't done in some fashion or other, over and over during America's history. Their intentions don't make them 'crazy' any more than the intentions of people like Strauss and Aaron Zothelle make them 'right'." Julian says a bit testily.

Referring to his nephew, and by extension his father, as 'crazy' tweaked a nerve in Julian, though he couldn't exactly explain that.

He takes a deep breath.

"I apologize. I simply don't think people should be branded wrong for wanting basic human rights. That sort of mindset is the reason for the mess we're in today." Julian says, stepping away from Lisa.

"We'll go over it later. I suggest we get out of here while the getting is good and start our other work elsewhere."
