Long-term Assignment
Anyone at the makeshift camp where the Winter Guard was convening with Shield were likely to see a red-armored figure stomping past them, muttering a string of Georgian curses. This was utter garbage! After the Guard had contacted home regarding what had happened, the government decided that it would be a good idea for someone to remain in the West to make it easier for the two countries to coordinate efforts. The idea was sound, Zviad didn't dispute that, but what angered him was apparently he was being voluntered for the job. Of course by voluntered he really meant ordered. Technically it made no sense, he was the newest member of the Guard and thus knew less than any of them. Then again maybe that was the point. Plus he imagined more than a few of the brass leapt at the opportunity to keep him out of the country for as long as possible. Personally he would have liked it if he at least had a say in the matter. Zviad found a sturdy looking rock and sat down. Deciding it was pointless to keep his helmet on, he took it off. For the most part, people kept their distance, as Zviad's anger was palpable.

Zviad nods and gets up from his spot. In the end, if his time here was to be manageable, he'd have to establish a working relationship with Alpha Flight's leader. He makes his way to the location directed. "Mr. Bochs?"

By pretty much anyone's standards, the 'Temple of Boom' is a technological marvel- and Jordan's pride and joy. True surround-sound, including speakers built into the floor and ceiling, 256 disc CD changer, automated DVD selection, and every bell and whistle for audio-visual entertainment that's legal in Canada.
Jordan has settled into 'his' leather mini-couch in front of the TV, currently set up to display the screen of his laptop, with all the data they have on the leak so far.

"Jordan, please. Nice to meet you under slightly better circumstances."

Zviad's posture relaxes. "Likewise, Jordan. I apologize for having your team suddenly stuck with me like this. I promise you I will pull my wait while here."

"Governments decide strange things sometimes. I'm sorry you're stuck here. Hopefully we can help make your stay, however long it ends up being, not too unpleasant."

"That would be appreciated, thank you. Sadly I can't offer much in the way of information. I suspect of all my compatriots in the Winter Guard, I know the least of why we were sent here. If anything, I suspect my appointment here was as much to get me out of my superiors' way as it was to appear cooperating."

"Entirely possible. That's ok, we could use the firepower, and its not like there's any state secrets at risk... one, they try not to tell us anything, two, its Canada."

"I see," Zviad said, thinking a moment. "I have heard..disturbing stories about Department H. Though considering my own government I'm not one to criticize how others operate."

"And some of those stories are probably true. Canada has always been unsure about having its own super team. Sometimes we're barely in the budget, sometimes they love us. Regardless, we report to them, but we've had our own run ins with the government, and try and keep some distance."

"Most of the time, yes. As long as we're on call at all times, the Department likes us generating good publicity, and gives us some flexibility there."

"Well, at least I can still do my job, even if away from home. I didn't put on this armor to mparticipate in black-ops *****." The last word's in Georgian.
"Sorry, a habit I picked up from Mother."

"Hey, no problem. I do most of my cursing in Romany. Very descriptive. As for black ops... we're not very well suited to them, team-wise, so not many worries there."

"Yeah, of course. Oh, and if its not a super secret or anything, if you ever need it, I can probably do any needed repairs on your suit."

"Not a problem. I still maintain a set of the Box armor... which, admittedly, isn't Stark design or anything, and I don't use it... but I have it. Plus the suit on display at Bochs' electronics could probably be brought back up to snuff in a couple days... so if you ever need a slightly clunkier, more heavily armored backup while yours is in the shop, they could use some field testing."
