After three days, Jack realized he hadn't seen Kalypso or at least heard from her. He called the Avengers Mansion to see if everything was okay and if they were on an extended mission. Three nights of restless nightmares told him that something was off and it had to be her absence. There was something missing that he couldn't put his finger on, but he believed that it would resolve itself once he saw her.

Jarvis told him that Miss Kalypso was indeed staying at the mansion but nothing more than that. Jack decided to show up that evening.

Kalypso had been in the library reading. She had never been one for reading, but since bringing some books back from Olympia and Titan she had been reading as much as she could on her people. There was a lot to read since the Eternals had recorded their history long before humans had even started.

Jack would be led to the library when he arrived.

Kal in a lotus position and levitating off the floor while reading.

	Jack paused just inside the doorway to look around. He'd only been in the mansion a handful of times and it always seemed to be bigger than what space was allotted for it. Rather than his brain working on the architectural details of the building, it was now murky in a way he couldn't explain. "Kal?" His voice was husky from lack of use. "Are you in here?" "I was just doing my nightly round and I..." For a second he /knew/ what had gone wrong, and then it was gone. "I don't know. Maybe if I go back over the same territory I'll find something to jog my memory. But I will let you know before I take off for the rooftops. It helps clear my head some nights when I'm working on something but if there's any chance something else happens you'll know where to look."
