Scorpio's Sting
Mikel Fury had held his breath when they passed through the main security checkpoint to S.H.I.E.L.D. Central. He knew Sammy would get through with no problems since she was Daddy’s Little Girl and Golden Child, but he the rest of his team could have been a huge problem. He didn't need the mission failing before they got a foot in the door. Thankfully Aquarius and Sagittarius made getting in a lot easier with the use of their powers.

Mikel had selected well when he put his team together.

The team entered the elevator and Mikel pushed the button for the top floor. The Old Man was waiting and Mikel was sure that by now he knew Mikel was in the building.

	When Mikel said he'd call with a job, this wasn't quite what Sammy expected. Apprehension prickled along her skin as she waited for the others to come through. She didn't have a problem. She never had a problem with getting in to see the old man. If he only knew... She stuck close to Mikel. He would need her to get through to their father. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	The elevator ride to the top floor seemed to take forever. Mikel wasn't exactly the patient type. Something he definitely got from the old man. "He'll be surprised to see us," Mikel told his sister. A pair of tubes extend from his armored forearms, releasing a swarm of spiderbots to crawl into the computer networks to start reconfiguring the system to shut everyone else out and speed up his work.
