A Time of Need (Nightstalkers)
(This scene takes place after the vampire attack in Los Angeles)

Eli reaches out with his mind, as even a cell phone is too slow for his needs.

Bram....

Jessica....

Gregory...

Amanda....

I am in need of your aid.

Eli's tone is earnest and solemn, and he does his level best to keep it from being pleading for their assistance.

He waits to to see if they'll answer back, hoping that they are all not otherwise busy.

"I am certain you would prefer destruction, wouldn't you? A chance to be released from your shame. No, I will not be so generous." Druig says, ignoring Bram, Amanda and Jessica.

"You are exiled from Polaria upon pain of destruction. You are not to return under any circumstance, for any reason, not even should you require dire aid, for as long as you shall live. Your children and their children, and their children forever until your bloodline turns into ash and dust shall never enter Polaria, not even if they are of Eternal blood. You will be stricken from the records of our city and never again spoken of.

If you do, I will have you destroyed upon sight for the traitor you are, Eliosha Paravich." Druig says coldly.

"Druig of Nightmares has no son, now and forevermore. You have chosen humanity over your people. Now live as one of them." he says.

With that, Druig vanishes and leaves Eli to his friends.

Eli hears the pronouncement, but it doesn't truly sink in for a minute. Only when Druig vanishes does Eli stare forlornly at the ground, understanding what has just happened to him.

He has nowhere to go, no place to return home to. Even during his time away, the one thing he could count on was that Polaria would always be there to return to, no matter how far away he went.

Now, he did not even have /that/. His mother was gone and his father had disowned him utterly.

"I...I have nothing." Eli whispers to himself.

"Come, my friends. I will return you to your homes and then I will...go to work. Yes, work would be good just now." Eli says, still a bit shell-shocked.

	Eli manages a sad, tired smile. "Bram, if you are aware of anything that might help, I am listening. Right now, I am not certain I can think of any such thing." he says, looking around for everyone. "Where is Greg?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
