A Time of Need (Nightstalkers)
(This scene takes place after the vampire attack in Los Angeles)

Eli reaches out with his mind, as even a cell phone is too slow for his needs.

Bram....

Jessica....

Gregory...

Amanda....

I am in need of your aid.

Eli's tone is earnest and solemn, and he does his level best to keep it from being pleading for their assistance.

He waits to to see if they'll answer back, hoping that they are all not otherwise busy.

Vale vanishes in an eyeblink as the vampires try to surround Bram and Greg. One is hit with the wooden bullets and garlic mixture, and practically explodes as it dies a final death.

Greg's snarl startles another and it is staked, falling to the ground, paralyzed. It looks up with fear at the werewolf, hoping against hope that he will move on and forget to end him permanently.

Thulsa Doom's staff appears from the ether and he brings it up just in time to block Eli's first attack, which he counters with a strike of his own.

"So, it is treachery." Thulsa Doom says coldly.

"I resurrect your your little strumpet over and over, just to kill her ten-thousand times, boy. And your mother will know ten-thousand lifetimes of pain for your insolence!" Doom says, lashing out at Eli with a foot.

Eli parries the first strike with his sword, but the kick takes him by surprise, knocking him down the steps of the throne. Luckily, he's learned to fall by now, and manages to turn it into an awkward shoulder roll.

He rises to his feet and summons his duplicates, each armed with as sword.

"Give up now, necromancer, and you may yet live to tell of this." the four Elis say as one.

	Greg's family had a long history with vampires and Greg hated them. He stabbed the vampire in the heart with the second stake and left it there. He grabbed the first one and turned toward another vampire. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Bram keeps firing while trying to stay on the move. Bram rather did like killing vampires. As far as he was concerned there was only a handful of vampires that deserved to live and they were very rare cases. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The vampire on Greg attempt to fan out once they see their friend grabbed so that it's not so easy for him to kill them in one shot. The vampire facing Bram dodges behind a pillar, also trying to stay ahead of his bullets. Colin Vale reappears behind Greg, attempting to slash him with a silvered sword. 	Thulsa Doom levels a blast of black energy at Eli, narrowly missing as the Eternal rolls aside, the vanishes from view. The necromancer then sends a blast of dark energy at Greg as well, trying to keep the werewolf off-balance. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Eli reappears behind Thulsa Doom and slashes him in the back, drawing first blood from his enemy, but Doom turns and extends his arm, slamming Eli against a wall with invisible force. "You will pay for that, boy." Doom snarls. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The vampires backed away from Greg when he howled, unsure as to what this change means. They look at each other uncertainly before finally deciding that they can all take him down together.

Greg shreds them like paper the moment they come close, ending the threat posed by Colin Vale's minions.

The minion facing Bram catches a wooden bullet in the heart and disintegrates before him.

Colin Vale, on the hand, is still in the game. Bram manages to graze him with a bullet, tearing through his coat. Vale bares his fangs and snarls, but is unaware that his last movement has placed him squarely in the path of the snarling werewolf.

	Eli hopes that Jessica and Miranda are faring better than he is right now. He manages to dodge a staff thrust from Thulsa Doom while shrugging out of his now-ruined coat. He loved that coat. He would have to ask Kalypso to mend it for him, if she could. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Colin Vale finds himself in the untenable position of being trapped between a vampire slayer and a werewolf. It would be comical if it was not so dangerous.

"Killing me will not save the girl. She will die anyway. I made certain of that." he says as he ducks behind another pillar.

"Walk away, human and I will let this go." he says, attempting to sneak up on Bram from behind while trying to avoid Greg, which wasn't really working the way Colin hoped.

Thulsa Doom strikes Eli several times in succession, knocking him to the floor. He kicks away Eli's sword as the tip of his staff flares a dark violet.

"I have spent 10,000 years learning to utterly destroy your kind, Eternal. When I am done with you, I will kill your mother, and your cousins, and the rest of your people, simply because of the hate I bear you.

And I will kill that little human whore you enjoy so much and resurrect, just so that I may kill her again and again and again.

Know that all that has occurred is your fault and yours alone." Thulsa Doom taunts.

	Eli isn't certain what kind of dark magic Thulsa Doom is using, but somehow, it's inhibiting his powers. It's a struggle to move or even connect his thoughts for a teleport and Eli knows that the end of this battle will find him wanting if he doesn't stop this guy right now. "Hold that thought, human. I'll get back to you." Colin says.

Colin sees Greg hot on his trail and speeds up his pace, deciding that he has to deal with the werewolf on his ass. He draws a silver dagger from his boot and tosses it at Greg...without realizing that he just stepped into view between two pillars where Bram can easily see you.

"I fucking /hate/ werewolves!" Colin yells, snarling at Greg.
