She wanted to tell him it wasn't a matter of killing the ritual, but she didn't. There was no need to worry him at this point. She smiles at him when she pulls back from the kiss and then away from him, going to the body closest to her and begins her ritual. For her, working with the dead always started with thanking them. After that, her eyes seemed to go very distant as she all but actually slipped into a space between worlds.
"I mean no harm," she started. "I seek to help. I seek answers."
