He still couldn't believe, eben after five days. The brass had finally promoted him to Crimson, one of three in the whole nation! Yuri said that they were likely hoping he'd get scrapped and they'd have an excuse to can him. Still, the look of pride in the older man was mistakable.His parents had also been proud. His father had even showed up after the promotion to salute him. Sergei wasn't an affectionate man, so those rare moments of parental pride were deeply treasured. He had just returned to Guard headquarters, hoping for a chance to finally put the newest Crimson unit through its paces.

	Irina was on base to deliver her monthly report. It consisted of nothing more than her record of contact with the royal family in America. They always wanted her to report on the Champions, but she refused each time. She wouldn't spy on her team for them. Irina walked through the hall deep in her own thoughts. (Reply to this)(Thread)

"It's likely utter garbage. One of those 'we're going to go cause someone else trouble, but we don't have the guts to say so' scenarios. I did not join the Guard to participate in shadow ops. This isn't the Cold War." Zviad suddenly realized he was ranting to a woman he just met. "I'm sorry, maam. Not even a week and my lip's already running away with me. Not my place to question and all that."

Zviad's eyes lit up a bit at the mention of Tony Stark, more specifically his legendary bodyguard, Iron Man. It was watching old videos of Iron man that he had inspired him to join the Dynamo program. Yet another fact that annoyed his superiors.

"Yes, come to think of it. I can see why our government would want to keep notice of him." Zviad's face turned embarassed. "I'm sorry maam. Here I am jawing away and I imagine you had somewhere important to be."
