Getting the Band Together
It was the right thing to do. And Scotty could just stick with Daniel and let the girls do their thing.
Besides, he was a very good Rock Band keyboardist.
Scotty sighed and picked up the phone.
"May I speak to Zoey, please?"

"Hi! Ummmm, there's a thing. A Rock Band thing. And you get to meet Starry Twilight if you win. Do you want to do the thing with us?"

"YES!" she finally said when the excitement died down a bit.

Scotty held the phone a little further in front of him for a bit.

"Okay. Cool. So, can you come over this weekend?"

"I have to ask my Mom and Dad, but I should be able to. Is Daniel and Ellie going to do it too?"

"Yes. They are but you and Ellie can do most of the meeting stuff if we win. There's a free guitar, too, and Daniel and I want that. Let us know what your parents say."

"Awesome!" she squealed. "I'll go ask." She set the phone down and ran to find her mom.

There was a very quick explanation and many "pretty please"s before she gave her mother a chance to reply. When she had her answer she ran back to the phone.

"I can do it! My Mom said yes!"
