And though the situation that Stark is describing is different than her own the truth was that she didn't consent to being made machine either. It was done entirely without her opinion or consent and she knew too well the pain of having to suddenly be part metal, part wire.
It doesn't matter how much of you is left alive; when you become part machine all of you dies.
She folds her hands in her lap.
"Okay."
