"I dislike this situation." He replies, gravely. "Although I find it more tolerable without his sniveling." He gestures a hand back towards Manhattan.
Vincent pauses. "I have conflicting memories... discerning the real ones is simple enough, but the experience is disconcerting. You, for example." He folds his arms. "Your treatment of me makes less sense than it previously did. Also, my engaging in activities like laser tag or miniature golf. I find the idea of spending time on them difficult to comprehend." His favored past-times with Daniel and Scotty, respectively.
"I believe I am experiencing a disconnection from my 'true' memories. At the same time however, my scientific acumen has never been sharper." The look in his eyes is clearly that of one who is running a cost-benefit analysis.
