On Wrongs Swift Vengeance Waits
Wrath, being the most feared of the seven, led the ceremony in the abandoned warehouse. The seven demons stood around Harold Jenkins and chanted while their followers stood in a circle around them. Harold was a criminal of the worst sort and had just finished killing a family of four when the demons grabbed him and offered him great power. They chanted along with their demon masters.

Wrath held the Medallion of Power and with it they would being a new Vengeance into the world. This one would serve them and their goals and hopefully distract the Ghost Rider and his companions. The city wasn't big enough for the demons and the Champions and New Orleans was the perfect city for them. Vegas was too showy and over the top for most their tastes.

The voice rose in volume until the ceremony reached it's climax. There was a bright burst of flame around Harold and when it died down Vengeance stood in place.

"Go," Wrath said. "Your job is just beginning. There is a city awaiting you. We have even provided you a motorcycle."

Vengeance nodded and climbed onto the waiting bike. The bike roared to life and Vengeance rode out of the warehouse.

"I go where I choose, when I choose, Rider. None shall decide my course, save I. Your friends will know only pain should they interfere.

If you care anything for their welfare, keep them out of my path." Vengeance says, noting Irina's attack on his bike, which flatters the tire for only a moment, before Vengeance channels his energy and the tire is restored.

Then he guns the engine and attempts to speed away from them, into the city proper to find other sinners to punish.

	He'd been willing to let them all go, all of them, without resistance, until the attacks started. Vengeance is actually knocked from his bike with the Champions combined attacks, but he doesn't stay down long at all. He rises quickly and growls at them. "Fools! All of you!" he yells. Then he unleashes hellfire at Lyta, then Argo, and finally Harmony. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	With all the noise that was being made Harmony had ample supplies to defend herself with so she used the noise to create a buffer of sorts and she threw it as best she could like a net, attempting to cover as much area as she could to block the flames. She did, however, feel the heat and she wouldn't be able to maintain it for long. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The Rider doesn't join in the dogpile. There's no point in it. Either Vengeance will realize he can't fight all of them - especially with Argo present, and he'll escape, into his host if need be, or he won't, and he'll be beaten. There's plenty of raw power here.

The Rider instead focuses his vision, trying to see what mystical threads might emanate here, what Vengeance might be connected to - beating the body does nothing, if he can't return him to hell. So for now, he bides his time, letting the others fight, while he does his best to make sure he can either track Vengeance down next time, or else find out who helped him.

Vengeance is rather annoyed at these so-called heroes, but he knows that he can't beat them all at once. Not here and not now.

He calls his bike to him and tries a most unorthodox strategy in his escape. He mounts the bike and then drives into the portal Irina is opening beneath him.

As soon as he's able, Vengeance will ride at top speed through the portal to escape the Champions, for now.

However, he will attempt to ride between the fabric that separates the worlds and return to Earth several miles from where he met the Champions, exiting the portal and allowing his host to take control for the time being.

He needs to determine a new strategy for dealing with these so-called "heroes" as they post a threat to his mission.
