Happy birthday!
This year, Alice decided that Sammy needed something "extra special" for her birthday. Yes, while guns were always the option, there were only so many years in a row that you could get your best friend a new gun for her birthday. It was repetitive. It was boring.

And Alice was not a fan of repetitive and boring.

So, at around ten o'clock, when she was working in her office, Sammy would receive a very special present.

A Happy Birthday stripper-gram. The guy was conveniently dressed as an average, everyday S.H.I.E.L.D agent so Sammy wouldn't suspect that something was up until after they were behind closed doors.

Alice didn't want the surprise to be ruined, after all.

Tech has been working on one of Sammy's gifts for weeks in fits and starts. He'd told both Jess and Gran about Sammy's birthday and made certain to remind them in advance. Therefore, the cake showed up fresh and on time for Jason to deliver to Sammy's room.

Then he went to work on installing her present. Knowing of Sammy's love for coffee, Jason had been working on this at various times when he could count on her not being around.

Now, he disassembles the machine, and adds the new AI to it to make certain it works on voice-command. He rebuilds the machine as a dispenser for those chocolate covered espresso beans she loves so much. The machine also as a place for her Glock and can dispense three extra clips for the weapon on command.

Oh, and it now holds bullets to refill those clips daily.

Once Tech completes his work, he resets the machine and tests it out, making sure it does the things he set it up for. Once he's satisfied, he writes Sammy a little note.

Hope you like your birthday present. Couldn't do the hovercar yet, but I'm sure you'll enjoy playing with this for a few days. It's voice-activated and operated now, so let me know if it needs anything else.

Then he leaves and goes back to his lab to try to take down that damned Night Elf that killed him earlier today.

	During his vendetta with the Night Elf, Tech would find a bag of Wildberry Skittles appear on the desk in front of him. It led to another, then another, and a trail of bags to the futon where Sammy waited, smiling. A lot. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Tech finally manages to kill that Night Elf Mage with his Blood Elf Paladin after what started as a one-on-one became a full-scale guild war in Southshore. His guild was victorious tonight, but he knew he was KoS for the Talons of Teldrassil.

The Warriors of Silvermoon would return the favor, of course.

He notes the bag of Skittles appearance and then sees the trail. Looks like someone found her gift.

He shuts down his laptop and looks over to the futon.

"Well, hi there! Didn't expect to see you around. Havin' a happy birthday?" he asks.

"Well, considerin' all the attention I'm gettin' now, it seems like it paid off." he says quietly, smiling at her.

"Your espresso machine just needed an Sammy-type upgrade and I was in a position to make that happen. I'm glad you like it. It also does tea now, you know. Just in case you ever have someone in your room that likes tea.

I'm glad you've had a happy birthday, though. You made mine a lot of fun with the free drinks. That was a really good night." he says.

The surprise was indeed a surprise.

When the agent requested admittance, Sammy was looking the computer finishing up some paperwork for her special project and called an invitation to enter without looking up.

"Agent Fury?" asked the deep voice.

"Yes."

"Ma'am?"

"What?" She looked up. "What do you need?"

"Just your attention, Agent Fury." He set a small device on the desk and music began. Before Sammy could demand an explanation, the tall, handsome, and certainly an Alice-Prank original, began to gyrate to a sexy version of 'Happy Birthday.'

Her best friend had great taste in eye candy. Sammy made a mental note to get her a raise. Or her very own assistant.
