"Hey now, don't get all upset. Some vampire thought it would be a good idea to try to jump me last night, figured I wouldn't know what to do when he came at me.
I quickly fixed that misperception. Apparently, he was among the few that felt a human had no right telling 'his people' where they could and couldn't live. I guess he took exception at my ultimatum toward the vamps a few months ago." Matt says.
This isn't the first time he's been attacked, but this guy had actually come a little bit closer to taking him out than he was letting on. If Whisper hadn't growled out a warning, Matt might not have seen him coming.
"But I'm here and he's a pile of dust, so all's well that ends okay." he smiles.
