He'd found one -- an all-ages karaoke bar. A night out for him, Andrea, Kassi, and Ben. No mention of the trouble at home for now.

"My problem at karaoke is that my favorite bands don't write a lot of songs meant to be sung by happy people." He grins. "So it going to have to be an Oldie." He heads up. 	"Is that what he thinks?" Ben asks, pretending to consider it. "Maybe he's right. A real date would be fun, if you wanted to try it." he says. When Andrea comes back, Ben high-fives her. 	"I...I'd like to try it." Kassi wasn't sure if she'd said that very loudly or if she'd said it at all for a moment, the idea sucking the air from her lungs with the most delicious form of shock. 	Ben watches Kassi, utterly transfixed. He didn't know the song before she sang it, but he's going to YouTube it and learn all the words as soon as he gets home tonight.
