Ben saved up his lunch money over the past couple of months to afford Christmas presents for his parents. He gets Mom and Dad gift certificate to the cheesecake factory.
For May, however, he can't really think of anything to get her that she probably doesn't have herself. He's spent a lot of time thinking about it until he realizes what May has needed all along.
The website has taken shape over the last two months, with thousands of hits every day and viewership working its way toward one million.
He sends May a text message.
Hey, found something interesting on the comp. Check it out.
www.spidergirlrules.net.
When May goes to the website, she finds a professionally done website with several recent pictures of Spider-Girl beating down crooks, swinging about the city and generally being helpful. The timing of some of the pictures is very suspicious, but all of them are excellent quality and show Spider-Girl only in the best light.
The comments are from hundreds of people around New York who are amazed that "a big-time hero" like Spider-Girl noticed them and thanking her for saving them and keeping the city safe. There are several marriage proposals and request to just take her out to dinner or to a movie.
Many of them tell Spider-Girl to keep up the good fight and keep helping people as best she can and that she's not a menace.
Ben hopes she likes it.
