Goddess's Day Out
Asleif continued to travel the world, occasionally rendering aide as she saw fit to those she saw fit to render it to. Which seemed all the more often these days. The world news was filled with reports of the odd mudslide which missed a village or a trail which stopped moments before a collision, and smaller, human interest stories of lost pets suddenly returning home.

But today was decidedly a day for herself, or at least, a day for friends, of which she had precious few.

She appeared in the lobby of the Fantastic Four's headquarters and informed the clockwork golem at the desk that she was here to see Vincent.

"Yes, you should." Vincent teases. He double-checks his schedule to confirm he is neither being tutored nor tutoring that day, then ducks back up to his room to grab his wallet and make a phone-call.

He returns downstairs with a smile that generally signifies he has put something in motion. "I've made you an appointment with a personal shopper. They'll help us in selecting a few dress options for you, and tailoring them as necessary." He offers her his hand. "Shall we go?"

"Less grandeur than Asgard, but more diversity." Vincent smirks. He whisks her off to the boutique. It's an upscale venue, with only a few other customers present, each of them seemingly attended to by an aide. The fashions here are provocative, but largely tasteful.

A woman in a closely fitted red dress approaches them. "Mister Amorason, a pleasure as always." They exchange professional kisses on each cheek, before she offers her hand to Asleif. "And you must be Miss Thorsdottir. Right this way please."

	It will never equal the grandeur of Asgard, but Asleif has grown to quite appreciate the cities of Midgard. But New York is much more suited to her temperament than LA ever was. She took the hand, offering a small nod of thanks and recognition. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The woman holds Asleif at arms-length, examining her as she leads her through the store.

"Oh Vincent, you always bring me the prettiest things." She grins lazily, leading Asleif to a changing room. "It's the first time you've brought me someone with your color though. Greens and blacks, just as I favor on you, I think." She ushers Asleif behind a curtain. "Start with these, darling."

Vincent follows along, smirking lazily with his hands in his pockets. "Best to do what she says."

	"Favorable indeed," Asleif agrees. "And yet not quite the statement I wish to make." She had been gone, in one sense or the other, for too long. If she wished to walk among the mortals here, she wished to be noticed. Her eyes fell upon a mannequin that seemed to have been almost placed into hiding. "And what of that?" Vincent follows her gaze, his eyes widening slightly.

"That thing?" The attendant gives Asleif a curious glance. "Some little celebutart almost went on a gothic kick and had that custom made. A little too 'wicked' for our usual clientelle."

She pauses, then smiles. "Just give me a minute..." She saunters over and then carries off the mannequin, returning with the dress on a hanger for Asleif.

	Vincent is struck speechless at first, feeling something in his reasoning processes fall out. He swallows, then clears his throat. "Striking... quite striking." He looks to the attendant. 	Odd. Vincent's hand had wavered a bit before settling on her shoulder. Had he been originally going to put it somewhere else? "I suppose you are correct," she said at last, smiling a bit again.
