Vincent smiles and pats her shoulder before withdrawing his hand, giving her a reassuring nod. "I won't lie... at first it was just because you were a wickedly pretty face, and Asgardian besides, but I truly value your company, Asleif."
He grins. "Now, as far as an early dinner goes, have you tried sushi yet?" He'd recalled that while she could put away as much as he could, if not more, she favored lighter fare over the steaks and occasional comfort food binges that he favored.
