"That's really cool. I've written a song or two for fun, and I can sing okay." Chris shrugs. That one girl on Providence had certainly thought so. Heh.

"My big thing is clothing design though. Give me my sewing table and a bag full of reclaimed fabric via Goodwill and I'm a happy camper." She chuckles. "I don't know about 'nice', but I can do fun and/or comfortable pretty well."

Chris raises an eyebrow at 'pseudo-mom', but she's in no position to question anyone else's family quirks. Not with Big Brother Ultron and her nephews Vision and Victor.

"Both must help a lot with the band angle. Dad helps me design my own clothes by giving them unstable molecule treatments. Be a shame to lose a good jacket or skirt to an emergency transformation."

"A tiger, gradually. I used to turn more and more into the shape as I got bigger, a lot bigger, but lately I've been getting more control over it. I can turn into a normal sized tiger, or transform just one limb at a time. I can do a quick shift into an anthro form too."

A pause.

"The weird part is that it always picks up my hair color for all the fur, no matter what I dye it."

"That does sounds simpler. And yeah, Deej is great. He's my best friend. He and his mom are the best pseudofamily a girl from Maine who was stupid enough to get lost in New York could ask for," she says good-naturedly.

"I like hanging out, some of the community outreach stuff. Dancing's nice, within reason. Not that much of a mosher. I do some of our compositions; Deej and I wrote 'In My Backyard' together."
