Kassi had helped Mac decide on a nice shirt, button deep blue, with nice dark jeans.

He showed up a few minutes early at the Baxter Building with their tickets and a small pot of Butterfly Ginger. He told the lady at the desk he was here to pick up Andrea.

It probably sounds stupid, but the scariest part of the occasional 'oh god oh god we're all gonna die' moments was dying that far away from the family and the ocean and all that. A bit of a frisson from Mac. "The Negative Zone...totally don't envy you guys with that beat."

But it gives way to a just-slightly-sheepish smile at her reply. "Awesome."

And soon they're at Madison Square Garden, which is bustling. They still have a few minutes, though. Their tickets are pretty well located. "And will the lady be having burgers, pizza, or knishes?" Mac asks.
