Kristoff carefully shoves all little voices screaming that they want to go home for however long they can savor into the back of his mind where they belong. He knows there's no decision here.
"Then," he lingers over her arms for just a few moments longer. "Let us get back to it." And while he's physically the weakest by far of the team, his armor still makes him far stronger than any less equipped baseline, and when he manages to look away from Cassie, he puts it to work.
And he tries focus completely and not to think about his mother, or whether the Master the alternate Dr. Doom is looking this way.
