Revelations (after the drone attack)
Cassidy got the call to come to Mr. Summers' office and wondered what it could be about. Yes, he'd gotten a little banged up during the attack on the school, but he was all right. He didn't think he'd done anything to warrant being called in, but he'd try to keep an open mind before he freaked out.

He knocked on the door to the office and waited to be admitted.

	"Yes." he says, when his voice comes back. "Her name is Theresa Cassidy. Uncle Scott said her dad, my grandpa, is named Sean Cassidy. He said I've got an Uncle named Tom Cassidy, too, but he /really/ didn't want to talk about him." Cassidy looks through one drawer full of C's but doesn't see anything. "Uncle Scott didn't say anything about a Havok, but he did say his brother's name is Alex." Cassidy mentions. "Can you bring that file over here?" he whispers.

Minutes later, Cassidy finds a file labeled "Cassidy, Theresa".

"I think I found the file on my mom." Cassidy says, opening it up. The first picture he sees nearly makes him drop the file. He looks upon the face of a woman with red hair and green eyes. This is the first time he's seen this picture, but not the face in it.

"It's...it's the woman from my dream." he whispers.

"Well...I guess, but it doesn't make sense. I saw a video of her and my dad giving me away to Doctor Millbury for money and leaving. But in my dreams, she's singing to me and saying stuff I don't understand." he says quietly.

He looks at the file on Alex Summers.

"They're both mutants. Her codename is Siryn. His is Havok. Does everyone around here have a codename except me?" Cassidy asks, poring over the file and reading information on his family trees.

"My mother can generate sound from her throat in a variety of ways. The file says that my grandpa Sean can do the same thing. My dad...absorbs cosmic energy and melts stuff. Okay, that's kind of odd.

I can absorb sound and use it bust up stuff. The chances of two powers combining so seamlessly is too high to be a coincidence. Most genetic mutations don't work that well together. You'd have to spend a few years combining and recombining DNA sequences to get that effect and even then, it's a 1 in 3,000,000 chance that will happen." Cassidy says, doing the mathwork in his head. He's always been good with genetics and science, though he has no idea why.

He looks over Theresa's file a little more and find another picture. In this one, there's a picture of a younger Theresa along with several other people, at least one of whom Izzy might know very well.

"Who do you think these people are? And what about that old man with the white hair?" Cassidy asks.

	"Ah don't have a codename," Izzy said. "There's nothin' wrong with not havin' one." "Oh, that's Cable," she said, "Scott's son. And he's really not that old. And the rest of those people are one of the old New Mutants teams, Ah'm pretty sure." She fished out Cable's file, handing it to him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"You don't have a codename, but you've got a cool nickname. Spongebob." he grins.

He looks over the picture and then looks at Cable's file. "Whoa. /That's/ my cousin, Nathan? Wow. That's just weird. This file says that his last known whereabouts is a place called Providence. Alex's last known whereabouts are...Genosha.

So two members of my family live in places that are mutants only." Cassidy considers, looking at Theresa's file again.

"My mother's last known whereabouts are New York, followed by County Mayo, Ireland and Muir Island, Scotland. She moves around a lot." Cassidy notices, looking at the New Mutants' picture.

"Hey, who's that guy?" Cassidy asks, pointing out Sam Guthrie, who is making rabbit ears behind Theresa's head while she frowns at him in the photo.

	Cassidy bursts into laughter at Izzy's words because, the more he thinks about it, the more he realizes that it's /true/. "Now that you mention it, yeah, it does." Cassidy laughs. When he's done laughing, he looks up at Izzy. "Hey, um...do you have a date to Fall Formal yet?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cassidy takes the file and looks through it, finding a picture of Andrew. He marveled at how much they both looked like their father.

"Uncle Scott said Andrew is my brother. I'd like to get to know him as a person, but I don't know if he'll accept me. I don't want my brother and I to end up like Alex and Uncle Scott." Cassidy says.

"I'd like us to be friends. Who do you think I should try to talk to first?" he asks, looking over each of the pictures.

	"I'd really like that, if you wouldn't mind. Otherwise, I'll probably get near him and then freak out and leave...or mute myself." Cassidy smiles. "Wow.
