Daniel's dreams had become reality. Plants were acting out even more than he had noticed. There was unusual growths and sometimes he found himself slapped by trees and bushes tried to snatch him up. That was very annoying.
He tried to talk to his father only to find a note. He would be away on a trip for a few weeks. Daniel had forgotten about that. He tried to think about who to turn to for help.

Now there was no other option but to seek out help. He was a little afraid to go to the Avengers to see it the Scarlet Witch would help. He would have to though. She might be able to help. So he hoped in his car after googling the right directions and drove.

He had to park his car several blocks away. Then he walked and as he was walking by the fence leading up to the gate something rather unfortunate happened. A tree decided to react to whatever was wrong with him and well, snatched him up. That made him scream. The tree, if it had a mouth, would be trying to eat him.

There is a man, on the Avenger grounds being eaten by a tree. Oh dear.

"ARG!...S-Someone help!" This was not funny.

	One Scarlet Witch to the rescue! "Hold still." Wanda was not as accomplished as Crystal at controlling the elements but with some focus she should be able to... The tree abruptly released the man but he needed to get out of its grasp soon because she had only a few more moments of control over it. (Reply to this)(Thread)

He jumped out of the tree. He hit the ground without thinking about it he bolted away from the tree. He got away from the tree and glanced around to make sure he wasn't near anything that might react to him. He looked safe.

But he could feel in his mind that the root system was still close. Right under the path way he was on. He jumped just in time to avoid and angry root and reflexively threw up an icy barrier in front of him.

	He shakes his head. "I've had strange dreams for the past month or so about the cities plants and earth trying to take me apart. I thought it was just a dream but a few days ago things have started to act out. I wasn't sure if it would get this bad." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He gives a tiny half smile. He likes someone who can read between the lines. "Yes thank you ma'am." He's prepared to follow her in. "Er. Just no rooms with house plants please? 	He went inside ahead of her. The young man dressed decently, like he had wanted to be professional but comfortable when he came here to ask for help. He sits down and wonders how to start. He opens his mouth though and starts talking. "Since I turned seventeen I've been operating in the city helping stop small stuff. It was never anything that would bring me under anyone's attention. Two months ago I got word through this guy I buy my home supplies for creating wards that I've needed since I was a kid up that this group of guys had been shaking down some of the smaller pawn shops that On occasion get a few magic trinkets in. Small harmless things. I decided to step in and tell these guys to stop it or I'd drag their asses to the cops. It didn't go as planned. Two of the guys were normal. Third guy was a practitioner like me. Older and more experienced. Felt different too. The fight went bad though. One of hi cronies saw my ears and thought I was a faerie, so he tried stabbing me with a cold iron knife. Crazy. But it distracted me long enough to force me to spend the next few days chasing them all over the Bronx. When I tracked him down he called me a stubborn kid and said if I tried getting in his way again, I'd be sorry. I guess I am but I don't think I ran into him again. I've just been chasing down these weirdly constructed creatures that keep cropping up around Central Park. They...feel earthy but wrong."

He pushes his hair back. "Maybe? My father never opted to have me tested. They were always like this. My life gets a little complicated since I found out my mother used magic and help from a faerie to help conceive me. He thinks the ears are a personal touch from that fae. I'm inclined to agree given how many times he's tried interfering in my life."

He won't mention the attempted kidnapping the happened when he was a kid. It's not important and is filled with a rather painful memory.

"Normally, I'm a pretty confident guy. The last few weeks. Maybe three....I've been dreaming about Central Park. Not a big shock since I've been around there a lot lately. But I dream about the park swallowing me whole. The trees coming to life and throwing me to the rocks. Then the rocks turn almost soggy and drag me under." His skin takes on a slightly pale quality when he mentions the dream. "I always wake up thinking I got pulled under the stones. It's unsettling and my teeth always ache after wards."

She was a little distracted by attacking plants.

Wanda pressed her hands together and closed her eyes.

She was talented at magic, but as Agatha Harkness was so fond of reminding her, she would never be a real witch. This would take effort.

Her hands glowed with a strange energy and after half a minute the glow stopped and she looked up at Daniel.

"You have been cursed and by the same man you mentioned earlier."

	Daniel made a noise of fustration. "I suppose I'll have to find him and force him to break the curse...And figure out what the hell he's up to, If he 'got' me because I was close to something it stands to reason I should ah, stop it." 	He seems to give this serious thought. "I'd go to my father for help normally. He's...much more experience unfortunately he isn't in the state right now." So he does need help. He doesn't sulk about it at least, he just admits his father isn't around. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He looks sort of happy to have help. The idea of going into danger doesn't scare him but his magic not being under control does. "Thank you." (Reply to this)(Parent)
