A Party to Die At, er...For. (Five hours before the meeting)
Melissa wasn't sure if she could like Boston; the city was nice enough, but it just didn't feel as alive as New York City. She rolled the black hose up her leg, then strapped her combat knife to her thigh. She really didn't like going into a job without her guns on, but she'd at least worked out a way to get those and her hood to her at a moment's notice.

Once she's dressed, she stands up and goes over to the small table where the map of Benedict Kine's estate is laid out, along with a few pieces of Kelly's guns, some markers, and a a white chocolate mocha.

"Okay, babe. So, let's go over this plan one more time..."

His hand is injured and bleeding, even if she's cut. He's also going straight for the thousand cuts approach, damn him. She snags a shard of glass, fighting with it in one hand, the knife in the other, feinting and lunging, pretending she's looking for an opening like one would expect.

She's not - she's waiting for his attack, intending to almost dive into it. Yes, she'll take a worse wound, but it should also let her close quarters and attack with both blades, just trying to give as good as she gets, and try and take single big wounds instead of lots of smaller ones.

Nicholas dodges and weaves, easily keeping up with the effortless strikes Kelly is throwing at him. He knows something is up. "I wonder if your plaything can take as much abuse as you," he coaxed. Of course he was referring to the girl Kelly was with. She wasn't usually the type to give a shit, but something seemed different about the way Kelly was with that girl.

Its true that Kelly isn't usually the type to care. "Go ahead. Just a piece of ass, like that donkey you snuck in." she snarls. She's lying, of course, well knowing just how long most people will last against Nick, trying to keep him focused on her.

She dodges most of his strikes, matching her reflexes against his skill, occasionally with mixed results, just focusing on trying to get her shots in where she can, and trying to keep him from getting in too many slashes of his own.

"So you won't mind when we recruit her? I'm sure she'll love the initiation."

Despite his proficiency in evasive maneuvers and combat, Kelly does in in shots, albeit more shallow than she intends. He wasn't about to let her get the upper hand. He mixes up the fight by introducing a powerful charge, trying to slam Kelly into the car to get a better handle on the fight.

	Charges and moving fights get back into her territory, thankfully. She bounces up onto the roof of the car, letting him slam into the jagged glass and side of the car before planting a hand and going for a spinning capoeira kick. He slams into the glass, and it hurts. But it's only his upper arm and shoulder, and they're just cuts. He'll be fine from those. What hurts more is the kick, and Kelly's biting wit is just infuriating. He makes a grab for her wrist again, and this time tries to swing her around to grind the back of her body against the broken glass window.

The bitch had to get hurt. "You really need to learn when to shut the fuck up."

	She slams into the car, shards digging into her back as she grabs onto the arm he's holding her with, trying to keep him from dodging as she stomps for his ankle to unbalance him before kneeing for the groin or the gut. Kelly kicks his leg back and unbalances him, and he knee drives into his gut. It hurts, and they're both falling. But Nicholas is quick, and he puts his other foot in place to hold him up and pulls her close for fist to her face. "Now I think I just want you to scream," he replied through gritted teeth.

Kelly snaps her head forward, taking the punch, since they're in tight quarters, even losing some teeth - some of the broken bits remain in the hand that hit her in the face where she bites the hand that decks her.

"You firtht." she snaps back through a bloody, gap-toothed grin as she rakes a hand full of broken glass shards at him, pulling out all the stops. She's not going to go down easy - and she's determined not to let them take Mel.

Nicholas rears his hand back after she releases her bite. "Bitch!" He was smart enough not to make it worse. He moves back to avoid the glass shards and kicks at her stomach. He'd follow that with an uppercut, if possible.
