A Party to Die At, er...For. (Five hours before the meeting)
Melissa wasn't sure if she could like Boston; the city was nice enough, but it just didn't feel as alive as New York City. She rolled the black hose up her leg, then strapped her combat knife to her thigh. She really didn't like going into a job without her guns on, but she'd at least worked out a way to get those and her hood to her at a moment's notice.

Once she's dressed, she stands up and goes over to the small table where the map of Benedict Kine's estate is laid out, along with a few pieces of Kelly's guns, some markers, and a a white chocolate mocha.

"Okay, babe. So, let's go over this plan one more time..."

No one can question her reflexes, even if her attention span lacks something. She goes from Melissa-blanket and knife fetishist to acrobatic in .02 seconds, diving out the passenger side window, heedless of glass shards, then bounces onto the roof of the car, knife still in hand, going for a pistol with the other.

"Sorry Nicky, I know the sheepskin seat-covers turn you on and all, but this isn't a three way."

The others may be bad news, but Nicholas is extra-bad. She has to keep him away from Melissa... and is rather stunned to find that that's her line of thought.

The shattering of the window catches Mel completely by surprise and she curses both aloud and in her head as the attack commences. She should have known that this wasn't going to be easy, but she couldn't understand.

How could Kine's people be on them this fast?

When Kelly gets out of the car, Melissa reaches down to grab her purse. All of the important stuff is in there, and if the next thing coming at them is gun fire, it would be best not to lose it. She speaks a word under her breath and vanishes from the inside of the car to reappear twenty feet outside of it.

Scanning the situation, Melissa decides it's finally time to have a little bit of fun. She reaches into her purse and pulls out her red cloak and hood, starting to put it on over her shoulders. Good thing she enchanted it to hold a lot more than it should be able to carry.

Pulling the hood over her face, Melissa then pulls her handguns from inside the purse, then aims at Tessa.

"Hands off my woman, bitch!" she says in her demoic voice, firing at the red-haired woman.

As Tessa touches her, panic hits Kelly for a moment. "My guns! Where are my guns!?" She forgets about drawing her pistol, since to her now addled mind it isn't there - a real nightmare.

On the other hand, she still seems fairly aware of the situation, given how much her twisted head messes with psychics. On the other hand, she's still facing Nicholas without her guns.

	Donovan may be the backup, but he's neither helpless or untrained. As Melissa emerges he lunges for her, trying to make contact long enough to drain some of her life force, getting a strong vibe of power off of her. (Reply to this)(Parent)
