Information is key (open)
Kaila had spent the past two months gathering information on this group of students at Xavier's. There were quite a few of them and she had spent time getting to know each student and as much as she could about them. Gabriella wanted as much information as she could possibly get and Kaila would get it for her.

They were a wide and diverse bunch, but nothing the Brotherhood couldn't handle if the X-ers got in their way. Kaila sat with her laptop and went through the computer systems. It was slow going, but she was getting information.

"Dad's cryokinetic, drops the temperature of things, y'know? Does great ice sculpture. And Mom's geokinetic-and-pyrokinetic... basically, she's a Volcano Lady. They're both down in Brazil with family right now."

"Cool. Sounds like you and your sister got a nice variation of theirs. My mom wasn't a mutant. Not sure about my dad. What about your other sibling? What can they do?"

"The shortstack hasn't manifested yet. Sorry to hear about your folks. The not-knowing and the past tense thing, not the baseline thing."

She blinked a little confused. "Oh. They're both still alive. I just don't know my dad. My mom raised me."
