Brad can't very well leave town when there's a Princess singing a song. He orders himself a beer and cheers when Gretchen is done. He also whistles and winks at her, letting her know he appreciates her performance.
He's pretty sure she's close to saying yes to running away with him; he just needs to talk to her a little bit more.
