The Morning After (open)(bendytimed back a little)
Last night hadn't gone exactly to plan, but it had been a wonderful night. The exhibit had been wonderful, dinner excellent and afterwards...Syd blushed at the thought. She had woke up this morning snuggled up next to a warm body and with a smile on her face.

She would have stayed in bed if she could, but an eight am meeting on the East Coast meant a five am meeting on the West Coast. Syd rolled out of bed at 4:30 and got dressed and caffeinated before her video conference with Mr. Stark. After the meeting she started a batch of blueberry muffins and scrambled up some eggs. Pancake batter was made and ready to be cooked when people filtered into the kitchen.

The residents and their guest would be waking up soon and it was best to be armed with food. She smiled at the thought of two dogs, a tiger and a kid jumping into bed with Avery.

	Dawn pulled awkwardly on her shirt as she came into the kitchen. Damn thing had fit a hell of a lot better a few days ago, but she was managing. And she finally felt sane enough to go out shopping for a complete new wardrobe. "Morning all," she said. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Okay, this was officially annoying.

"Hey, Eltin. You wanna take over on toast duty? I need to talk to Marlow about a spell." Andy moving to slowly approach Marlow in the corner.

"Um, Marlow? Am I imagining things, or are you glaring daggers at me? If it's the first one, then I apologize. If it's the second...I think I have a right to know why, since I haven't done anything to deserve it. Not to my memory at least.

Can we discuss this in private?" he asks.

	Giving toast duty to someone who had never used a toaster was probably not the smartest move. The toast came out only slightly burnt but at least the fire detectors didn’t go off. Eiltin hadn’t had several of the foods Sydney had just mentioned so grabbed a good serving of all of them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The puppy poked his head through the towel. He barked happily when he saw Syd. Busted. "Okay, I know we've got a lot of pets, but someone just left this little guy in a cardboard box in the side of the road. I couldn't just LEAVE him there. I promise I'll train him and everything." 	Griffen had noticed Dawn. He was trying not to notice her. He had no idea why. He also knew he was starting to blush so he focused on his coffee and the puppy. "He looks a little underweight.
