The Morning After (open)(bendytimed back a little)
Last night hadn't gone exactly to plan, but it had been a wonderful night. The exhibit had been wonderful, dinner excellent and afterwards...Syd blushed at the thought. She had woke up this morning snuggled up next to a warm body and with a smile on her face.

She would have stayed in bed if she could, but an eight am meeting on the East Coast meant a five am meeting on the West Coast. Syd rolled out of bed at 4:30 and got dressed and caffeinated before her video conference with Mr. Stark. After the meeting she started a batch of blueberry muffins and scrambled up some eggs. Pancake batter was made and ready to be cooked when people filtered into the kitchen.

The residents and their guest would be waking up soon and it was best to be armed with food. She smiled at the thought of two dogs, a tiger and a kid jumping into bed with Avery.

Last night was officially counted as one of the three best nights of Avery Crittenden's life. If he ever had to recount those three nights, all of them would have Sydney in common.

He rolls over around 5:30 am and finds...no Sydney. While that was perplexing, it was far less so than the two dogs, tiger and kid that came to join him in his slumber.

He's not certain how he'll address this, so he'll let his daughter ask the questions and hope that she's not nearly as perceptive as he expects her to be.

	Zoey, with animals in tow, climbed into the bed not long after Sydney had vacated it. She was still sound asleep and would be until around eight or so. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Avery is very glad that Sleepy Child is Sleepy. This will give him a little time to get presentable for when Zoey does wake up. He eases out of bed, over the dogs, past the tiger and to the bathroom. Once he feels semi-human, he'll smile at the sleeping girl and make his way downstairs. (Reply to this)(Parent)
